  1. # This is a help file for the human interface program.  It is
  2. # displayed when 'help' is typed to any prompt.  There should be a copy
  3. # of this file in any directory containing a human interface program.

  5. You may type a reply when you see a prompt ending in ?.  The default
  6. action if you just press return or wait for timeout is shown in brackets.
  7.  
  8. A prompt ending in > is just informational; you can press return or just
  9. wait for it to time out after 5 seconds.
  10.  
  11. At any prompt you type any of the following instead of the normal response:
  12.    ?      for more information about what you can do at that point.
  13.    help   for this information.
  14.    quit   to quit the game (which then continues without you).
  15.    s      status -- show your token values and the current bid and offer.
  16.    $      dollars -- show history of transaction prices in this period.
  17.    h      history -- show history of bids, offers, and trades in this period.
  18.    f      fast -- go past > prompts without waiting for 5 seconds or return.
  19.    w      wait -- wait for user response -- suppress timeout and dots (...)
  20.    u      unwise -- don't allow unwise (unprofitable) choices.
  21.    a      accept -- make the default y for buy? or sell?.
  22.    -      reverse the effect of following f, w, u, or a options (e.g. -u).
  23.    p      prices -- summary of trade prices in the period.
  24. P(shift-P)pass -- choose the defaults for the rest of this period.
  25.
